The Association of Educational Publishers Regranting Program

AEP welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with for-profit companies in their endeavors to deliver quality educational materials and experiences to our nation’s youth and educators. Recognizing that for-profit companies often design and administer programs similar to those of a non-profit, we have created a regranting program that will facilitate the funding of these efforts. As a 501(c) 3 organization, AEP can receive funding from foundations which can be regranted to for- profit companies whose programs fulfill the missions of the foundations. In recent years AEP has regranted over $1,000,000 to for-profit companies to fund educational programs.

Regranting guidelines

  • AEP will consider collaborative applications only for programs that are consistent with AEP’s mission. (see below)
  • AEP will provide collaborative support for the application in form of a letter or other document.
  • AEP will collect a 5% administration fee for each grant received. For example, a $100,000 grant paid to AEP will yield $95,000 for the grantee.
  • Grant monies received by AEP will be paid to the grantee no later than 90 days after the work has been completed and approved by the grantor.
  • AEP will consider any grant amount in its program. There are no deadlines.
