AEP announces finalists for prestigious Golden Lamp Awards
Winners to be announced at annual Awards Banquet
& Gala in June
LOGAN TWP., NJ--APRIL 20, 2006--The Association of Educational
Publishers (AEP) today announced the sixteen finalists for its
2006 Golden Lamp Awards, the most celebrated arm of its annual
awards competition. Winners will be announced June 9 at the annual
AEP Awards Banquet & Gala, held at the JW Marriott in Washington,
DC.
For nearly three decades, the AEP Awards have recognized significant and excellent
achievement in supplemental educational products and education marketing. Selected
by a panel of educators and industry experts, AEP Award winners earn the right
to display the Lamp of Learning logo, nationally recognized by educators and
administrators as a mark of outstanding quality and achievement.
“Each year, the competition for the Golden
Lamp gets tougher because the quality of the products continues to rise,” said
Charlene Gaynor, AEP’s
Chief Executive Officer. “This year’s finalists enliven critical
subjects such as reading, math, science, and music with fresh multimedia approaches.”
