MDR Announces Major AcquisitionOn July 6, 2007, education sector marketing firm MDR signed an agreement to purchase the education assets of MKTG Education Services, formerly known as CMG. Moving forward all MKTG Education Services account management, customer service, and data assets will be managed and fulfilled by MDR. MKTG Services will continue to deliver business services outside the education market. "MDR is focused exclusively on education. The acquisition of MKTG Education Services enables us to combine two best-of-breed databases resulting in unsurpassed data quality and an expanded product suite.
