Shakespeare Squared Doubles its Accolades - 8/31
Shakespeare
Squared, the Glenview, Illinois, based development company that

recently has been honored with both national and local recognition.
Inc. magazine has for the first time included Shakespeare Squared
in its annual Fastest Growing Companies in America list, and founder

Broward County Public Schools Continues Commitment to Providing
Educators and Students High-Tech Digital Resources - 8/22
Broward County Public Schools recently renewed its contract to
provide Discovery Education unitedstreaming to area educators
and students. The only digital-video-based learning resource scientifically
proven to increase academic achievement, Discovery Education unitedstreaming enhances
local educator's curriculum with digital media and engages the
YouTube generation on their ground. Today, one million educators
and 30 million students in more than half of U.S. schools learn
with Discovery Education unitedstreaming.
Pokemon Learning League Selected as a Finalist for EdNET 2007
Industry Awards - 8/22
Pokemon Learning League, the online suite of animated, interactive
lessons in math, science, language arts, and life skills for grades
3-6, is a finalist for the EdNET 2007 Rookie of the Year Award.
Sponsored by The Heller Reports and Quality Education Data (QED),
the EdNET Industry Awards program, now in its 15th year, recognizes
organizations that have made important contributions through their
products and programs to the education industry in the past year.
Free Lesson Plans on Racial Understanding Available for High School
Teachers and Youth Leaders - 8/21
A set of four lesson plans on race and diversity can now be downloaded
by educators at no cost. Designed for high school teachers, and suitable
for youth leaders in non-school settings, the lessons are designed
to promote greater understanding of difference among high school
students. They have been developed over several years by a non-profit
organization and can be downloaded from the website RaceBridges.net.
