Coughlan Companies Names New CEO - 9/17/07
G. Thomas Ahern has been named Chief Executive Officer of Coughlan Companies Inc., which includes Coughlan Publishing, an internationally recognized producer of children's books, and Mankato-Kasota Stone, a quarrying and sales business. The businesses operate in Bloomington and Mankato, MN.

Ministry of Education-Malaysia Provides iNSIGHT Scanners to Primary and Secondary Schools - 9/12/07
Pearson announced that the Ministry of Education-Malaysia is providing its schools with the company's iNSIGHT(tm) optical mark read (OMR) scanners to support student data collection activities. The southeast Asian country is purchasing 1,240 of the desktop scanners for its primary and secondary schools.

Upgrade of InspireData Expands Tools for Using Visual Learning to Build Data Literacy Skills - 9/12/07

Philadelphia, San Francisco Public School Districts Commit to Providing Educators and Students Effective Digital Resource - 9/10/07
Both the Philadelphia Public School District and the San Francisco Unified School District have committed to offer educators and students Discovery Education streaming.
