Vin Riera Named PLATO Learning Sr. Vice President of K-12

PLATO Learning, Inc. has announced the appointment
of Vin Riera as its senior vice president of K-12 sales. Mr. Riera
comes to PLATO Learning with an extensive background in the high-tech
and education technology industries and a track record of successfully
leading large-scale sales organizations with high sales productivity
impact. He will be responsible for leading PLATO Learning's
entire K-12 sales organization.
Pokemon Learning League Named a Finalist for Distinguished
Achievement Award - 4/16
Pokemon Learning League, the new online educational suite of animated,
interactive lessons in core curriculum for grades 3-6, has been
selected as a finalist for a Distinguished Achievement Award from
the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP). Developed by Pokemon
USA, Inc., Pokemon Learning League has signed up more than 18,000
registered users since it was launched in October 2006.
New District Manager for MDR Sales - 4/12
MDR President Fady Khairallah announced today the appointment
of Elizabeth Vollmer Stack to the role of District Manager for
the Shelton Sales Team. Stack, a leading MDR sales representative
from 1982-1996, brings to the team over 16 years of expertise in
education and the direct marketing industry, teaching experience
and, most recently, sales leadership at MKTG.

Pearson Educational Measurement Awarded American Diploma
Project Assessment Contract - 4/10
Pearson Educational Measurement today announced it has been awarded
a contract by Ohio on behalf of nine American Diploma Project (ADP)
Network states to deliver a new Algebra II exam. The project marks
the largest effort ever undertaken by a group of states to develop
a common assessment based on common standards.
WriteToLearn Named Finalist in Association of Educational
Publishers 2007 Distinguished Achievement Awards - 4/10
