The California K-12 High-Speed Network (K12HSN) is charged with
providing statewide coordination of network uses to benefit teaching
and learning. Discovery Education has agreed to partner with K12HSN
to provide Discovery Education unitedstreaming resources
on the network.

Curriculum Associates - 2/28
Curriculum Associates presented two new Practice and Mastery programs
designed to improve student scores on the Louisiana Educational
Assessment Program (LEAP) and the Integrated Louisiana Educational
Assessment Program (iLEAP). Both series cover English Language
Arts and Mathematics.
Pokemon Learning League - 2/28
A growing amount of research indicates that students' prosocial
skills have a significant impact on academic achievement. To that
end, Pokemon USA, Inc., has added new topics to Pokemon Learning
League that focus on relationship-building, prosocial behavior
and bullying prevention.
Inspiration Software - 2/27
Inspiration Software has announced the 30 educators from around
the world who will receive 2007 Inspired Teacher Scholarships for
Visual Learning. In its ninth consecutive year, the scholarship
program supports technology purchases and professional development
activities for educators who champion the integration of visual
learning and technology into the curriculum.
National Evaluation Systems - 2/21
The Georgia Professional Standards Commission has launched
its new online Faculty Resources, the latest enhancement to the Georgia
Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE) Web site.
The new resource area was developed by National Evaluation Systems(tm)
(NES), the teacher licensure testing business of Pearson Education.
