Weigl Publishers and Encyclopedia Britannica - 3/17/07
Linda Weigl, Publisher and President of Weigl Publishers Inc., along with Michael Ross, Senior Vice President at Encyclopedia Britannica, are pleased to announce a national book donor program called Creating a Nation of Readers. Through the expertise of Rock for Reading and Book Worm Angels, two foundations that fund literacy programs and distribute books to schools in need, Creating a Nation of Readers will pump thousands of donated books into underprivileged and underfunded schools each year.

The Pope John Paul II Scholarship is an annual $3,000 award to a graduate level student of Polish ethnicity enrolled at a US College or University. The scholarship is administered by the Kosciuszko Foundation (www.thekf.org), a New York based organization established in 1928 to promote educational and cultural and scholarship programs.

Weiss & Associates invites companies in the education industry to participate in this program by contributing tax-deductible corporate development funds to increase the amount of the annual award.
