Discovery Education
LIGHTS, CAMERA, EDUCATION!, the online application of the American
Film Institute's K-12 Screen Education program, is now available
on Discovery Education's unitedstreaming service. LIGHTS, CAMERA,
EDUCATION! is a video-based module that profiles actual teachers
and students as they incorporate the techniques and collaborative
process of filmmaking into the study of traditional academic subjects.

3-6.
Thinkronize
Thinkronize, developer of the netTrekker suite of safe educational
search products, and WGBH Educational Foundation Teachers' Domain
have partnered to provide netTrekker subscribers with instant access
to high quality, multimedia content for teachers and students.
Teachers' Domain is a digital library of nearly 1,000 multimedia
resources for classroom use and independent study and offers teachers
media-rich tools to present science concepts to students in high-impact,
engaging and interactive ways.
Thinkronize also announced the addition of 2,000+ Canadian websites
to its array of award-winning content.
Tom Snyder Productions
Tom Snyder Productions, a Scholastic company, has announced that
FASTT Math(r), closely aligns to Curriculum Focal Points, recently
published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).
FASTT Math helps students build fluency and quick recall of math
facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, which
are identified in the NCTM's Curriculum Focal Points as crucial
components of early math education.
