Pearson Assessments
Pearson Assessments has introduced The Bridge of Vocabulary,
the only explicit vocabulary intervention program tied to evidence-based
research and curriculum standards and developed for both general
and special educators. The product will be available November 13.

Discovery Education is partnering
with schools nationwide to launch "Learning
Adds Up," a new fundraising initiative that allows learning
and earning to go hand-in-hand. Schools and districts participating
in Discovery Education's program can raise funds through the sale
of subscriptions to COSMEO, the most comprehensive online homework
help service for K-12 students.
Voyager Expanded Learning
The Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) announced
the formal endorsement of all three research-based intervention
programs produced and distributed by Voyager Expanded Learning
(r): Voyager Passport, Passport Reading Journeys and Vmath (r).
PLATO Learning, Inc.
PLATO Learning, Inc. (NASDAQ: TUTR) announced they were awarded
a $424,810 agreement with the Sarasota County Schools to provide
standards aligned instruction and assessments for their district
wide Performance-Based Diploma Program.
