Springer Science+Business Media (Springer) has acquired twenty-nine
journals from Transaction Publishers in an asset deal. The van
Tulleken Company represented Transaction Publishers in the sale.
Pearson Education - 2/19
Pearson Education has announced that two products from the company's
award-winning formative assessment product line, PASeries (Progress
Assessment Series), have undergone a scientific review by the National
Center on Student Progress Monitoring. PASeries Mathematics and
PASeries Reading both meet multiple criteria for rigor of student
progress monitoring tools under the standards set by the National
Center.
Saxon Publishers - 2/7
The Texas State Board of Education recently announced the inclusion
of Saxon Math Courses 1, 2 and 3 on its instructional materials
adoption list, indicating that the company's new curriculum is
100 percent conforming and covers each required element of essential
knowledge and skills. Saxon is an imprint of Harcourt Achieve.
