About the Survey

The 2006 Salary & Benefits Survey is the first of study of its kind published since 1999, providing current and needed data for this growing industry.

The 2006 Salary & Benefits Survey is published by the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) in cooperation with Lois Eskin Associates and Hagen Marketing Research, Inc. The results of the survey, which also include analysis of emerging job functions, current salary ranges, and new "perks" and benefits, paint a picture of an industry in tune with the needs of the modern employee.

Inside the Survey

Featured data in the report includes:

  • the most prevalent job titles in the industry
  • annual salary figures, raises, and bonuses for 13 job titles
  • medical insurance packages
  • retirement plans

In addition to this compensation data, the report also contains in-depth demographic information on the location of educational publishing companies and organizations, their primary publishing activities, and their size in terms of number of employees.
