About the AEP Awards

For more than four decades the AEP Awards have honored outstanding resources for teaching and learning. One of the largest and longest-running awards programs for educational products, the AEP Awards aim to:

• identify products that exemplify the highest standards of professional, quality educational content,
• give credit and recognition to the organizations who are leading the way in this field, and
• set benchmarks to which the rest of the industry can aspire.

AEP Award winners are honored in June at the Annual AEP Conference in Washington, DC. Beacon winners receive their awards during the Beacon Luncheon; DAA, Innovation, and Golden Lamp winners are honored at the black tie-optional AEP Awards Banquet & Gala.

Awards Categories

• Beacon Awards, recognizing the best in education marketing
• Distinguished Achievement Awards, honoring the best in a range of product types and resources used by teachers, parents, and students
• Golden Lamp Awards, one of educational publishing’s longest-running and most prestigious honors, highlighting the “best of the best” in four key areas
• Innovation Awards, identifying the most original and forward-thinking products on the market
